Remuneration threshold to be respected

To obtain a work permit, the remuneration must reach a certain amount.
Here is the information you need to take into account :
  1. The workers' occupational conditions are governed by Belgian law. The legal minimums that are in force for the competent Joint Committee or any other competent body particularly apply to the remuneration.
     
  2. In any case, the remuneration should not be below the guaranteed average monthly minimum income as established by collective labour agreement n° 43 of the National Labour Council, regardless of the work pattern (the applicable amounts can be found on the website of the National Labour Council).
    Since 01/06/2016, the guaranteed average monthly minimum income is established at 1531,93 .
     
  3. In addition, certain worker categories require a minimum remuneration threshold in order to obtain a work permit :
