Scientific congress, inner circle meetings (negotiations, discussions, ...)

 

In the following cases, there is no need to submit an application with Brussels Economy and Employment.

The worker is coming to Brussels to attend a scientific congress.

Art. 2, 27 of the royal decree dated 9 June 1999

You do not need to ask Brussels Economy and Employment for employment authorisation in order to work in Belgium. (automatic exemption by virtue of article 2,27 of the royal decree dated 9 June 1999)

The worker comes to Belgium to take part in inner circle meetings for discussions, contract negotiations, evaluation interviews, etc., for at most sixty days a year and at most twenty consecutive calendar days.
